The promise of a new day

Finding the north star.

The very first sentence of a story is always the most awkward. I would begin with describing the time or the place in which this story begins. Or I could jump right into dialogue and explain later. Or  I could describe the main character. Well unfortunately for you, I know not what time or place and there was no dialogue that could explain what is currently happening. However, there is not protagonist nor antagonist, so if you wanted a simple conflict you must close this book before you get too far. The main character is a group of 'persons'. I suppose their names are in order. Sheesha Bolomini Carctorash Academina, daughter of Carcie Academina, Lord of Academina's most Noble and Voluminous Library, is a person with whom I am most closely aquatinted with. Though her friends, Beelietanihelinio Hotivu Tigressne (daughter of the lady of Tigressne), Fleuya Forsseeeth รข Nauturania ( sister of Lady Nauturania), and Donimina Contessa Medici (daughter and Heiress of Lord Medici of the Medici Bank Family) are very well known now, they were all in Seen at the beginning.

I fear I have chosen the least interesting way to start out my Anthology. I promise, no more of this droll introductions beyond mine. My name is not important. All that I am is light. I am a story. I have been born from the wishes, dreams and actions of a few good 'persons'. I came to be in a rather large city called Academina. It is an Unseen city under the Themes River. It spans the great waters on every side and every level. There are huge dwellings and a great temple at the very center over the underground river bed. I am drawn towards the temple. The temple itself is only a living quarters for the family of Academina. I follow the youngest, Sheesha is her name and I know her when I see her. She carries, or rather levitates a stack of books three times her size. She is the daughter of the Library keeper, the Lord of Knowledge in all of Unseen. She is yet very young even for an Unseen. She is the only daughter of the Lord and Lady in a patriarchal Government so she will not inherit. She does not mind the lack of title, but she does want to stay here forever. She loves learning and this library holds her heart. I wonder if  I will be a very dull story of a girl who reads all day....
